Parent On-Duty Rules and Responsibilities |

The assigned staff and parents should perform the following duties:
- Arrive school 10 minutes before the school starts; Sign your name and time on the on-duty list.
- Ask the teachers to sign in for each class; if the teacher does not show up on time, an on-duty member should go to the class room to keep the students in order and contact the teacher and the on-duty board member for directions.
- Ring the bells to announce the start and end of each class on time.
- Help the teachers or parents when any needs arise.
- Safety is the key. Please remind and monitor the students for any safety issues, put the safety signs around the stairs, stop the students from running or climbing.
- Keep the school environment in order. Students are not allowed to use the classroom computers or other electronic equipments, not allowed to use the vending machines in the hallway, and not allowed to draw on the floors.
- At the end of the school day, make sure all the students are picked up by their parents, clean up all the classrooms and bathrooms, remove garbage, turn off the lights, and close the doors.
- Sign out your duty.
Note:
- The assigned board member will remind the on-duty parents in advance for courtesy, but this is not required. It is the parents’ responsibility to remember their on-duty dates.
- In case if you are not available on your duty day, please find a substitute by yourself in advance, and notify the on-duty board member about your substitute. If you or your substitute doesn’t show up for duty, CCL will deposit your $50 on-duty check.
